Dr Dora Lengyel: My name is Dora and I have owned my dental practice for just over three years. When I first acquired it, I managed to achieve significant growth on my own. But over the last year and a half, we reached a plateau. As dentists, we are simply not taught business or team leadership. So I recognised it was time to seek professional help — to get to the next level. I am the kind of person who wants to keep growing, and I knew I needed someone who could genuinely help me do that.
Dr Dora Lengyel: I had taken on a lot of new team members, and I needed a structure for how to run the business more effectively with a growing team. Some of those team members had never been involved in dentistry before. I felt this was the moment to find someone with a proven track record who could get my whole practice involved — not just advise me in isolation, but actually engage with the team and help us all move forward together.
Dr Dora Lengyel: I had previously been part of a coaching group of around 100 practices, with more generalised group meetings. This is the first time I have had proper one-to-one coaching where someone actually looked at my specific practice, came to visit in person, interviewed my team members individually, and got everyone on board with specialist advice. That is completely different from anything I had experienced before. The bespoke nature of it — the fact that it is about my practice, not a generic dental practice — makes all the difference.
Dr Dora Lengyel: I am still relatively early in the journey, but I am genuinely excited. Rahul and Bhavna have come to the practice several times and started getting the team on board. I can now see what the whole journey is going to look like, and I feel more and more confident every month. It is not a quick fix — but I can see the path clearly, and that is enormously reassuring.
Dr Dora Lengyel: Reaching a plateau does not mean you have failed — it means you have grown as far as you can alone. There comes a point where you need people who have been where you are and come out the other side. Find someone with a proven track record who will get your whole team involved, not just coach you in isolation. That combination of personal attention and whole-practice engagement is what makes the real difference.
