Priti Patel

Priti Patel joined as a dental nurse with no clear direction and no sense of where her career might take her. In four years with Dental Wealth Builder, she discovered her natural talent for connection and became a Treatment Coordinator — going from presenting £2,000 treatment plans to closing £10,000 cases, with a £45,000 case in progress.

From Dental Nurse to £45K Treatment Coordinator

Q: Can you tell us about where you were before Dental Wealth Builder came into your practice?

Priti Patel: Before DWB, I was just a dental nurse. I came to work, did my job, and went home. The practice was growing, but for me personally there was no real meaning to it — I was just going from point A to point B. I did not see any scope for where I might go or what I might become beyond just being a nurse. Then Rahul and Bhavna came to see us on their first visit, and it was genuinely a wow moment. Who are these people? What can they do for us in dentistry? In four years, their presence in our lives through Dental Wealth Builder has changed an enormous amount.

Q: How did DWB identify your potential and shape your role?

Priti Patel: This is quite an emotional thing to talk about, actually. When they came and interviewed us individually, they clearly figured out what each person’s capabilities were. For me — I love talking to people, I love building relationships, I love helping them. That is where Bhavna’s teaching came in. She helped me see that I could become a Treatment Coordinator — the bridge between the patient and the dentist. That was the role I was made for, and it changed everything.

Q: Can you describe what that shift felt like in practice?

Priti Patel: I remember my very first TCO case that I signed was for £10,000. I was so happy — it was genuinely emotional. Going from presenting a £2,000 treatment plan to closing a £10,000 case felt like a real achievement. And now we are working on a case that is £45,000. I cannot feel any happier than that. I know this works. The systems, the teachings — all of it works. If something goes wrong, it means something somewhere has not been put in place properly. But when you follow what Rahul and Bhavna teach, it works.

Q: How has the practice environment changed for patients?

Priti Patel: Patients feel that they are walking into a completely different environment when they come in now. It feels safe and welcoming. The staff are happy and it shows. I had a patient who called and said that from the very first phone call — before she had even had her treatment — she knew we were the right people for her. Because she could hear the smile in my voice. That, to me, is what it is all about. And that is all because of what I have learned from DWB.

Q: How has your own day-to-day experience changed?

Priti Patel: I am not stressed when I wake up in the morning anymore. We have systems in place. I know exactly what the day holds, things are delegated to the right people, and the management of everything feels so much more in control. It is still a journey — still in progress — but I can see the changes happening every month. I know where we are going.

Q: What would you say to someone in the position you were in four years ago?

Priti Patel: I would say this works, and I would proudly recommend it to anyone. If you are feeling like there is no direction, no meaning, no scope for growth — the answer is not to stay where you are. DWB will help you find what you are genuinely capable of. I went from being just a dental nurse to a Treatment Coordinator presenting £45,000 cases. That transformation is real, and it is possible for anyone who commits to it.
