Picture a Tuesday evening in a Ferrari showroom. Dental practice owners are standing among the cars instead of round a boardroom table. Someone is talking about what it actually takes to sell something exceptional.

That's not a corporate away-day. It's one of our VIP coaching events. It's where some of our clients tell us the sales lesson finally clicked.

We built Dental Wealth Builder on thirty years of running our own practices, including managing and exiting multiple premium dental businesses at their peak value, before we ever coached anyone else's.

VIP events grew out of the same instinct that shaped everything else we teach. If you want a dentist to understand want-based selling, don't lecture them about it in a seminar room. Put them somewhere a want-based sale is actually happening, and let them feel why it works.

What happens at a DWB VIP event

Our VIP events are hosted at brands built around exclusivity and craftsmanship, not inside a hotel conference suite with rows of chairs. We took clients into the Ferrari showroom in London for the launch of a DWB coach's leadership book, Lead to Grow. We hosted a session on luxury sales psychology at Boodles. We launched our online coaching programme at Watches of Switzerland, and we unpacked what it really means to sell quality at Vacheron Constantin.

Each event follows the same underlying idea, even though the venue changes: attendees spend time somewhere built entirely around trust and aspiration, not pressure. Every detail plays a part: the lighting, the language, the pace of the sales conversation itself.

At the Ferrari event, that meant feeling first-hand the emotional power of a prestige brand. Attendees drew a direct line back to high-value case presentation at their own practice. At Boodles, it meant watching how personalisation and environmental design shape a purchasing decision, then working through how that same psychology plays out when a patient weighs up a treatment plan.

At Vacheron Constantin, it meant curated discussions on how storytelling and scarcity increase perceived value.

The question we ask our clients to sit with is always the same one. What would change in your treatment room if patients felt about your practice the way people feel walking into these rooms?

We host these events ourselves. That matters to us. They aren't third-party events with the DWB name attached from a distance. We draw the parallels for attendees directly, because the connection between a luxury sale and a dental case presentation isn't always obvious until someone points at it and asks you to notice.

Why we use luxury brands instead of lecture halls

We could teach case presentation from a slide deck. For some of our coaching, that is exactly what we do. Sales and communication masterclasses, virtual team workshops and our Transformational Leadership Masterclass all run on a more conventional format, delivered at your practice or online with your team.

VIP events do something different on purpose. At Watches of Switzerland, the connection we drew for attendees was direct. Set amongst timepieces renowned for precision and craftsmanship, the event embodied the same values we teach: clarity, strategy, attention to detail.

You can't fake precision in a watch. You can't fake it in a treatment plan either. Patients read confidence and care the same way a collector reads craftsmanship, often before a word is spoken.

We bring a particular vantage point to that idea. Between us, we have judged the National Private Dentistry Awards for close to two decades. That is years spent watching what genuine excellence looks like the moment a patient walks into a practice, rather than reading about it in a brochure.

Sitting inside a luxury retail experience does the same job for our clients that judging does for us. It makes the lesson stick in a way a slide never quite manages, especially for clinicians who have already sat through plenty of ordinary sales training.

The annual DWB Strategy Summit

dwb strategy summit

In January 2026 we launched a new addition to the VIP calendar: the DWB Strategy Summit, a dedicated strategy day reserved for our DWB alumni. The first Summit ran on the 22nd of January, from midday to five in the afternoon. We intend it to become a fixture on the calendar every year from here.

Where the branded events focus on one lesson drawn from one luxury environment, the Summit is broader. It is a full afternoon dedicated to strategic reinvention. We use it to explore what is changing in dentistry and business, including the rise of AI and shifting patient expectations. Then we work through how our alumni can lead that change rather than react to it late.

On the day, we share the thinking we would apply if we were building a dental business today. That thinking draws on our own experience of owning and exiting multiple practices, and our time inside a corporate dental group. It also draws on more than thirty years of combined strategic, clinical and entrepreneurial experience between us.

The intention is simple. We want every DWB member to stay ahead of what is coming, not just keep pace with what already happened. The Summit is the shared space where that conversation happens, once a year, with people who are already living the same decisions.

Who gets invited

VIP events and the Strategy Summit aren't open bookings. They come as part of being a DWB coaching client, and access is built into every one of our four core programmes.

  • ‍High Performance Practice Business Coaching. For owners wanting full practice transformation.‍
  • Team-Driven Practice Growth Accelerator. For owners focused on team performance and faster sales results.‍
  • Practice Growth & Success Programme. A lighter, guided route for owners who want structure without the full programme.‍
  • Associate Success Blueprint. For associate dentists building toward practice ownership.

Alumni who continue with us through DWB 10X keep that access too. Admission to the annual Summit is one of the seven pillars of that ongoing programme, alongside private senior leadership team support and continued access to our online coaching vault.

That's a deliberate choice, not an oversight. We aren't trying to fill a room with as many dentists as possible. We are building a community of clients and alumni who are already doing the work.

So the conversation in the room is always with people who understand the practice reality behind every idea we raise, whether that room is beside a Ferrari or over coffee at a Strategy Summit table.

How VIP events fit into your wider coaching

VIP events sit alongside, not instead of, the practical training that does most of the heavy lifting in your coaching. Depending on your programme, that training includes:

  • Monthly one-to-one coaching calls built around your practice's specific goals.
  • On-site masterclasses covering leadership, sales and communication, and marketing and systems.
  • Several virtual team workshops delivered with your whole team, not just the principal.
  • Monthly 10X Practice Mastery online calls to keep implementation on track.

VIP events don't replace any of that. They give it an emotional anchor.

Search for dental coaching workshop UK options and you will find plenty that stop at the workshop. What we have found over three decades is that the workshop teaches the mechanics. The VIP experience gives the emotional reference point that makes those mechanics worth using.

Clients tell us it is the difference between being taught how to present a plan, and actually believing it is worth what they are charging for it. One version is theory, learned at a desk. The other is a feeling you carry back into the surgery and into the next patient conversation.

How to join

The route into a DWB VIP event runs through DWB coaching itself. The honest answer to how to join is to start a conversation with us about which programme fits your practice. We assess where you are, what your team needs, and the pace that makes sense for you, before we recommend a pathway.

We do this deliberately rather than selling you the first programme that comes up. A practice owner chasing full transformation needs a different depth of support to an associate working out whether ownership is even the right next step. The conversation is where we work that out together, before either of us commits to anything.

Once you are a client, Summit access and invitations to our VIP calendar follow as part of what you are already part of. Perhaps you are searching for dental business coaching events UK because a one-day course has never quite gone far enough. That gap is exactly what we built VIP events to fill.

Ask us about joining the next DWB VIP event and we will talk you through which coaching pathway gets you there.

Frequently asked questions on DWB VIP Coaching Events

Do I have to be a current client to attend a VIP event or the Strategy Summit?

Yes. Both are part of the DWB coaching experience. They are included across our four core programmes and for alumni continuing on DWB 10X, rather than a ticketed event open to the public.

What actually happens at a VIP event, beyond networking?

Each one is built around a specific lesson. Want-based selling at Boodles. Storytelling and perceived value at Vacheron Constantin. Precision and credibility at Watches of Switzerland. Every lesson connects back to how you present treatment and build trust with patients.

Is the Strategy Summit the same thing as a VIP event?

It is part of the same VIP calendar, but broader in scope. Where the branded events centre on one lesson from one luxury environment, the Summit is a half-day strategy session. It covers where dentistry and business are heading, and how our alumni should respond.

How often does the Strategy Summit run?

We launched it in January 2026 as an annual fixture, so alumni can expect it once a year going forward.

Can associates attend, or is this only for practice owners?

Associates on our Associate Success Blueprint get the same VIP and Summit access as owners on our practice-owner programmes. The invitation follows the coaching relationship, not the job title.

Do DWB's founders attend the events themselves?

Yes. We host our VIP events and the Strategy Summit ourselves, rather than sending the DWB name along without us, and we don't plan on changing that. Drawing the parallel between the venue and your practice is the part we do not delegate.
